The zip wire flew through the air almost as fast as the Shewee flew off the shelves at this year’s Outdoor Show!

It was yet another successful year for the brand with Shewee Ltd selling one product every 20 seconds at the show on top of the one product every two minutes that already sell worldwide!

Huge numbers of women flocked to the stand to buy Shewee for themselves and for friends. Hundreds of women told us how they already loved Shewee and were eager to see what new products we had to offer. After all the fantastic publicity Shewee received in 2011, the stand was flooded with Shewee advocates. In 2011 everyone from the Loose Women to Dr Christian Jessen, Jo Brand and Fearne Cotton were raving about Shewee. Hoping to add Janet Street Porter to the list of Shewee fans, Janet was handed her very own Shewee Extreme after presenting the Ramblers Association Awards for Walk Magazine at the Outdoor Show.

The Shewee Extreme contains a Shewee, Case and Extension Pipe and was the most popular product with the ladies this year, with the new Nato Green colour going down a storm!

The ‘Wee’ Family Pack was a great hit with families. Released in 2011, the ‘Wee’ Family Pack offers security in a box and is ideal for families on long car journeys! To top it all off our new X-fronts were so popular that by Saturday evening some sizes were sold out! Customers loved the cleverly named underwear that have a discreet fly in the front to slip a Shewee through. The stylish and comfortable hot pants make it even easier to Shewee!

The Outdoor Show section of the combined London Boat, Cycle and Adventure Travel Show was a step up from previous years. So much more ‘free stuff’ to do! There was climbing for all ages with 8 full height climbing walls, a ‘climbing elephant’ for the toddlers and even a mock Ice Climbing wall! Go Ape set up the longest indoor zip wire at 500m as well as offering everyone the chance to zoom about on a Segway. There was white water rafting and canoeing and the maverick slack lines were not for the feint hearted. If that wasn’t enough, there were 1000’s of amazing bikes to ride from snow and sand bikes to old fashioned ladies traditional cycles. It was AMAZING! The show really is back with a BANG and definitely here to stay!

The Shewee girls attended the awards at London's Roundhouse last night. Hosted by the Cuban Brothers, trophies were handed out throughout the evening with entertainment in the form of comedians Trevor Lock and Luke Benson along with poet John Cooper Clarke.

All of the attendees received a free Shewee in their goody bags and by the end of the night, Richard Marcel (choreographer for Strictly Come Dancing) and singer Lemon (website) had everyone drinking beer and shots through their Shewee’s!

 The all female play When Women Wee has joined forces with the female urinating device; Shewee. Can you think of a more aptly matched team?! When Women Wee is a comedy set in the private space of a female public toilet in a nightclub. The new comedy offers a voyeuristic journey into the private lives of different types of women: The young, the old, the divorced, the drunk and the depressed.

With a fantastic cast the When Women Wee play was performed at the Camden Fringe Festival and The Lyric in Hammersmith. The response was overwhelming and was described as 'Therapeutic' and 'Hilarious' by people of all walks, genders and ages. ‘I can't look at women the same again’ said one man as he left the theatre!

Join the cast as they follow a familiar group of girls through the trials and tribulations of friendship, alcohol, men and menstruation on a typical Saturday night. Is fanny spray taking femininity too far? Are ‘quiet pooing in public’ rituals normal? Do you have any toilet roll in there? …Is she OK? Watch the girls try to answer these questions and many more.
