Shewee can be used whilst sitting on the edge of a bed. This eliminates the use of a bed pan in many situations.

Add a bottle or urine bag. Any size will do- but we recommend it has at least 1 litre capacity.

Shewee can be used lying down. However we recommend that if you are being admitted to hospital for an operation that you practise using Shewee lying down before you have to use it. Practise in the bath.

To use Shewee lying down:

Lie on one side. 

Bend your top leg so that your knee is raised level with your hips and touching the bed.

Place Shewee firmly against the outside of your labia majora making sure the outlet pipe is lower than your urethra.

Attach an extension outlet pipe to the Shewee or a urine collection bag.

Urinate and when finished, pull funnel forwards to wipe and catch any drips. Use a tissue if needed.
